A Extension for typing in Sinhalese (Sinhala) language.



Sinhalakey is a keyboard extension for typing Sinhalese in various Mozilla products. Sinhalakey currently supports only Singrish keyboard layout. We are working on the next version to provide support for Wijesekera layout.

PREREQUESITES
You should install sinhala unicode fonts in your computer in order to use this extension. Follow the instructions on this webpage: http://si.wikipedia....to_read_Sinhala

You can download the fonts for Windows below. For other platforms, you'll need to do a Google search for them.

Singrish Transliteration Table:


To use sinhala singrish, Go to required text box and click on it, right click on it, and select Sinhala Yathuru Puwaruwa->Singrish OR press Alt+F2, then to use the Singrish start typing.

To go back to normal English typing, right click on the text box, then select Sinhala Yathuru Puwaruwa->English OR press F2,
