BGM Conductor puts you in control of background music on webpages. You can make the music start manually (instead of automatically), or remove all music from the webpage altogether. Also, BGMC allows you to hear background music specified with Microsoft-specific HTML tag <BGSOUND>.

Usage:
If manual mode is turned off, background music should start automatically (or rather as per webpage author specified). The toolbar button and 1st menu option in Tools->BGM Conductor will stop all background music on the web page. If manual mode is on, the toolbar button and the 1st menu option will play the first valid background music on the web page.

Notes:

• Since there's no OS-specific code in this extension, it should work in any OS (the only requirement is that your browser can handle embed tags).
  
• I do not approve the use of BGSOUND tags on web pages. Unfortunately, the average user cannot do anything about a non-compliant web page (other than emailing the author). Also, some websites disallow use of EMBED tags but allow BGSOUND. This extension is the solution for such a dilemma.
  
• If you're upgrading from BGSOUND-to-EMBED, please uninstall B2E before installing BGM Conductor.
  
• Go to homepage for more info. Be sure to read the Before Installing section.

What's new:
typo in the code ('nul' instead of 'null'), wonder why no big errors were caused by this.

Known Issues

• Does not yet let the user control individual music objects
  
• When disabled, icon looks exactly as it does when it's enabled
  
• .RMI format doesn't .work for me - looks like QuickTime issue (should be fine with other plugin managers)
  
• SeaMonkey compatibility: works on Mozilla 1.8a6 2005011116; does not work on Mozilla 1.7.5.
  
• No uninstaller available for Mozilla/Netscape
