Open standards for annotating and indexing networked media.

When http, html and URIs were invented, the World Wide Web took its shape. With the technology provided here, we extend the Web to audio-visual data: Annodex, cmml and temporal URIs allow the creation of Webs of Videos. They also enable Web search engines to crawl and index audio-visual content. Just apply anything you know from the Web to audio-visual content - that's Annodex.
Annodex content is best watched inside the Firefox Web browser using an Annodex Firefox Extension (AFE). The Annodex Firefox Extension turns the Mozilla Firefox web browser into an Annodex browser. It supports playback of Annodex media encoded with the open-standard Ogg Theora video codec and the Ogg Vorbis audio codec, uses timed URIs to perform efficient, bandwidth-friendly server-side seeking on Annodex media, enables hyperlinking into and out of Annodex media, and displays a "table of contents"-like clip list for CMML content.

* Updated ANXLoader.js file for conformance compatibility with Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.1 and above.
* Corrected display output for non-Latin Unicode character encoded CMML text descriptions
* Corrected Timed URI display, updated Send Link function to include ID URI Links
* Added metadata display panel in user interface
* Playback error testing to determine if playback of media is correctly functioning. Audio Annodex files are not currently supported in this release.
