This extension notifies you when new messages arrive in your Yahoo! Mail inbox.



Once its installed installed, right click on the envelope at the right of your status bar. You'll see 3 options: Preferences (where you set your Yahoo! Username and password), Login and Logout. For example, if your email address is someone@yahoo.com, you would just enter someone in the username box. You can configure notification for only ONE Yahoo! mail address.

You need to login every time you open Firefox. Mail will be checked every 5 minutes, and a different envelope will indicate that you have received a new email. In this version, only the Inbox is checked for new emails.

Known Issues:

• It sees a lot of valid username/password combinations as invalid.
  
• It does not work very well on Firefox 2.0.
